The use of medical film and the principle of imaging
The bright (thin) part is the part with less exposure; the fully transparent part is the part without light exposure. This is the basic process of black-and-white medical film recording image. 2. Imaging principle of color medical film color medical film has three layers of photosensitive emulsion layers, in which there are different organic compounds that can generate dyes, called color couplers (couplers). They are colorless in themselves, but can be coupled with the oxide of the color developer to become a colored dye in the process of color development. For negative medical film, the coupling agent contained in the upper blind emulsion forms yellow during color development, the middle-level finished product is red, and the lower layer forms cyan, which is the processed color medical film we have obtained. By expanding or amplifying and then projecting the image onto the photographic paper or reverse processing of the reverse film, the yellow on the upper layer of the medical film changes to its complementary blue, the middle layer turns to green, and the lower layer turns to red, we get the same color photo or transparent reverse film as the natural state. This is the basic process of color medical film recording image. As a result, the dark (thick) part of the negative image is the part with more exposure; the bright (thin) part is the part with less exposure; the fully transparent part is the part without light exposure.
